Giclee (jee-clay) printing is the standard for fine art reproduction. Paul’s art is scanned and printed using state-of-the-art technology with archival paper, canvas, and inks. Editions are limited to a total of 250 prints in each size and substrate.
Paul generally offers 3-4 options, meaning that there is one original and 750-1000 reproductions total of each work.
Most paintings are available as prints. If you are looking for a different size or an image not listed, please let us know as we may be able to accommodate your request.
Canvas giclees are printed on waterproof, UV coated canvas and individually proofed, numbered and signed by the artist.
For the price of the canvas giclees, the stretching is included. The prints are stretched on 1 1/2 inch deep stretcher bars with white edges.
Black edges are an option at no additional charge. We can also stretch on 3/4 inch bars (recommended if framing in a less-deep conventional frame that overlaps canvas).
Paper giclees are printed on archival, acid-free paper and proofed, numbered, titled and signed by the artist. Dimensions shown represent the printed image size. The actual paper size is slightly larger by 2-3 inches.
We offer professional framing on all prints:
Canvas prints are framed in the same custom, one-of-a-kind floater style as the original paintings. Frame adds approximately 1 inch to each side. See frame sample images below.
Framed paper prints are done with classic and elegant, museum-quality white, 8-ply matting and a beveled, soft silver with black accents and edges molding. Glass or plexiglass is available. Prints requiring shipping are framed with plexiglass. Mat and frame together add 3-4 inches to each side.
